Safer City Campaign
The SaferCity campaign is a coalition of Maryland business, community, faith, government and institutional leaders led by Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake to advocate for positive change in Maryland's Criminal Justice System to make Baltimore Safer.
Baltimore is divided into nine police districts, which are each headed by a local police station. The District Finder will help you locate the district that you belong to.
History of the Police Department
The preservation of the peace, protection of property and the arrest of offenders has been the goal of Baltimore residents since August 8, 1729, when Baltimore was established.
