Sidewalk Scene

Female Officer: Hey, how would you like to be a cop for a day?

Citizen: Gee, um...

Male Officer: Aww, come on...

Citizen: Sounds like fun.

Backyard Scene

[Dog barking, while the citizen backs away.]

Female Officer: Whoa, whoa, whoa, where are you going?

Male Officer: Where are you going there?

Alley Scene

[The three are on foot, chasing a suspect. While the citizen catches his breath, the female officer approaches with the apprehended suspect.]

Female Officer: Come on, we have some paperwork to do...

Citizen: [Panting] Right with you...

Home Scene

[The three are approaching the front door of a home.]

Male Officer: You can lose the hat.

Citizen: I like the hat.

[After knocking on the door, they find themselves in the scene of a domestic dispute in which several people are screaming. Before long, a young woman hits the citizen.]

Angry Woman: [Knocking the hat off of the citizen] Get out of our house!

[Male officer shields the citizen as he ducks for cover.]

Patrol Car Scene

[The citizen is sitting in the patrol car as they drive by a young boy.]

Young Boy: Can you fix my bike?

[The citizen looks perplexed, but he is next seen sitting on the ground, repairing the bicycle's pedals. The officers and the young boy look on.]

Traffic Scene

[A confused citizen is standing next to the driver-side of a car, with a traffic citation in hand.]

Male Officer: You don't get a copy, you get...There's four copies.

Citizen: Which one's hers?

Male Officer: SHE gets the third... Read the copies.

Pregnant Mother Scene

[A pregnant woman lays on a couch, screaming in pain.]

Female Officer: You ready?

Citizen: Oh no, there's a baby coming out of there!

Female Officer: I understand that, but you're going to have to deliver. Do you know how to deliver?

[Male Officer is comforting the pregnant woman.]

Citizen: Stay in there! Stay in there!

Storefront Scene

[The three are back inside the patrol car, with the male officer behind the driver's wheel.]

Male Officer: [Looking over the back of his seat] There's a robbery in progress inside that store.

Citizen: [Pausing] You want me to go in there?

Male Officer: ...Yeah.

Citizen: What if they have guns?

Female Officer: You have your vest, right?

Citizen: [Glancing down] I'll stay in the car.

Male Officer: The car???

Citizen: I quit.

Female Officer: How'd you like it if we quit?

Citizen: I wouldn't... Can you take me home now?

[Closing Thought: And you thought your job was tough.]
