Southeastern District Non-Fatal Shooting Investigation

On May 6, 2024, at approximately 2:27 p.m., officers responded to the 500 block of N. Curley Street for a discharging.

Once there, they located a crime scene and learned that a 25-year-old man had apparently been shot and transported to an area hospital.

Southeastern District Detectives are investigating. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Detectives at 410-396-2422. Northern District Shooting Investigation (Hospital Walk-In)

On May 6, 2024, at approximately 12:25 p.m., officers responded to an area hospital for reports of a walk-in shooting victim.

The male victim advised that he had sold a relative’s vehicle to a body shop when the male suspect asked for a ride to another location. During the transport, the suspect asked the victim for his money and displayed a weapon. Following a physical altercation in the vehicle, the suspect allegedly shot the victim before exiting the vehicle.

The victim then drove himself to an area hospital for medical treatment.

Eastern District Homicide Investigation

On May 6, 2024, at approximately 4:09 a.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting in the unit block of E. 21st Street.

Once at that location, they discovered a 33-year-old  male victim inside a vehicle suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Medics responded and pronounced the victim deceased a short time later.
