Western District Attempted Murder Arrest

In reference to the shooting that occurred in the Western District on March 1, 2024, investigators have arrested  19-year-old Mandyae Turner of Baltimore.

Detectives learned that Turner shot the 20-year-old male victim multiple times, while inside a business in the 1500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.

On April 18, 2024, Western District detectives arrested Mandyae Turner and transported him to the Central Booking Intake Facility where he was charged with attempted first-degree murder.

Western District Shooting Investigation

March 1, 2024, at approximately 10:47 p.m., officers responded to the 1500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 20-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he is receiving treatment for his injuries.

Western District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
