The Baltimore Police Department will present its Medal Day Ceremony on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at 4 pm.

The ceremony will be held in the auditorium of the Baltimore Police Department Headquarters Building located at 601 East Fayette Street in the 5th floor auditorium.

The youth of the Bocek Police Athletic League (PAL) Center will be presenting the play, "The People That Forget Their Past, Repeat Their History."

This play, written and directed by Baltimore Police Officer Wanda Sanders, will take its audience through the stages of physical bondage, mental bondage, and ultimately total freedom.

As always, members of the Baltimore Police Department work collectively at taking criminals off the streets. As a result of the combined efforts of members in Patrol, Investigative Divisions, and Warrant Apprehension Task Force, members of the Homicide Unit have convicted seven murderers in four separate trials within the last 30 days.
