The Greater Greenmount area has experienced an increase in larceny from autos since the beginning of the year. To address this problem the Baltimore Police Department recently launched a larceny from auto initiative to help combat this criminal activity.
Sergeant Dennis Workley and Police Officer Kawanda Sears arrested a 14 year-old juvenile in the 700 block of East Chase Street after he attempted to steal a mountain bike that was on the back of a pickup truck which had been parked in the block.
Note: Please help the Baltimore Police Department by removing your valuable items fromplain view in your vehicles. Don’t become a victim.
