LGBTQIA+ Advisory Board

The mission of the LGBTQIA+ Advisory Board is to provide informed, community-centered guidance to the Baltimore Police Department on public safety matters affecting LGBTQIA+ individuals and communities. The Board seeks to promote equity, dignity, trust and accountability through constructive dialogue, policy review and strategic recommendations. The Board functions in an advisory capacity only. The Board does not possess decision-making, investigative or enforcement authority. Recommendations made by the Board are non-binding but are intended to meaningfully inform departmental leadership and policy development.
