Baltimore, MD (September 23, 2025) – A Baltimore Police Department investigation led to the arrest of two individuals and the seizure of a significant quantity of drugs connected to a supplier operating in the Mount Clare and Pigtown neighborhoods.

In early September 2025, investigators from the Group Violence Enforcement Team launched an investigation in response to a rise in violent crime within areas in the Southwest, Western and Southern districts. Detectives gathered intelligence indicating that the suspects were traveling in Delaware to transport controlled dangerous substances (CDS) into Baltimore.

Investigators worked in coordination with the Delaware State Police, and a vehicle stop was conducted on the Delaware Turnpike on September 17, 2025. The stop resulted in the seizure of suspected pressed cocaine, suspected fentanyl, and packaging materials.

Continuing their investigation, Baltimore Detectives executed a search warrant at a commercial building located in the 5700 block of Baltimore National Pike. During the search, additional items related to drug manufacturing and distribution were seized.

The following items were recovered during the searches:

• 1,078 grams of pressed suspected cocaine in brick form
• 124 grams of suspected fentanyl
• 9.96 grams of suspected crack cocaine
• 68 grams of suspected fentanyl/methamphetamine (Meth) mixture
• Manufacturing and packaging materials

Officers arrested 37-year-old Brian Alexander Hall and 35-year-old Lauren Michelle Beckman, both of Baltimore.

I am proud of the dedication of our officers and detectives, and we remain steadfast in our commitment to building a safer Baltimore.”
