BPD Southeast District Raids Lead to Arrests and Drug Seizure
The Baltimore Police Department’s Southeast District Action Team (DAT) recently concluded a months-long investigation into illegal drug sales, initiated by a 311 complaint and information regarding the illegal distribution of marijuana.
With assistance from BPD’s SWAT, Baltimore City Sheriff’s Deputies, and agents from the Maryland Alcohol, Tobacco, and Cannabis Commission, detectives executed Search and Seizure warrants at two commercial businesses.
During the operation, detectives conducted undercover purchases and recovered the following during the searches:
- Approximately 65 pounds of marijuana
- 205 vapes
- 1,113 of individual packaging of marijuana
- $63,500 in U.S. currency
As a result of the investigation, officers arrested 22-year-old Muslim Ahmed, 33-year-old Magdi Elroubat and 37-year-old Mohamed Ahmed.
The businesses targeted during the investigation include:
- Pulaski Convenient, 401 N. Bouldin Street
- EMonument Convenience, 2108 E. Monument Street
