Central District Attempted Murder Arrest
In reference to a 2025 shooting that occurred in the Central District, detectives have arrested 22-year-old Kenyon Cypress of Baltimore.
Cypress was arrested in connection with the August 21, 2025, shooting of a 21-year-old male in the 400 block of West Mulberry Street.
On January 28, 2026, Kenyon Cypress was arrested by Warrant Apprehension detectives and transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he is currently facing Attempted First-Degree Murder charges.

Central District Shooting Investigation
On August 1, 2025, at approximately 1:31 a.m., Central District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.
Once there, officers located a 21-year-old male suffering from an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Investigators believe the victim was shot while in the 400 block of West Mulberry Street, where a crime scene was located.
