Central District Attempted Murder Arrests

Warrant Apprehension Task Force detectives have arrested three juveniles in connection with a shooting that occurred on October 21, 2025, in the 300 block of W. Lexington Street.

Investigators learned that, following a verbal dispute, the three suspects, one 15-year-old and two 16-year-olds, took part in the shooting of a 61-year-old male. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he was treated and released a short time later.

All three suspects were arrested at three different residences across the city.

The juveniles were transported to the Central District for questioning and subsequently taken to Central Booking. All three have been charged as adults with multiple offenses, including first-degree attempted murder, as well as several assault and handgun-related charges.

Central District Shooting Investigation

On October 21, 2025, at approximately 8:06 p.m., Central District patrol officers were conducting foot patrol in the area of Saratoga in Eutaw Street when they heard discharging of a firearm coming from the 300 block of Lexington Street.

Upon officers’ arrival, they located a 61-year-old victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital listed in stable condition. 

Central District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
