Western District Shooting Investigation

On July 16, 2026, at approximately 7:36 p.m., officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 1300 block of North Carey Street.

Upon arrival, officers located a 26-year-old victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

Central District Shooting Investigation

On July 16, 2026, at approximately 5:29 p.m., officers responded to the 600 block of West Redwood Street for a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment.

Upon officers' arrival at the hospital, they located a 43-year-old male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body. The victim was listed in stable condition. At this time, the incident location has not been determined.
