Dirt Bike Enforcement leads to multiple seizures
Baltimore, MD (June 1, 2026) – Members of the Baltimore Police Department continued their efforts to address the illegal operation of dirt bikes and all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) throughout Baltimore City.
On Sunday, May 31, 2026, Detectives conducted an enforcement operation in and around Herring Run Park after receiving community tips regarding a gathering of illegal dirt bike and ATV operators. During the operation, detectives seized nine dirt bikes and ATVs as operators attempted to flee the area. Combined with other enforcement actions, BPD seized a total of 11 illegal dirt bikes and ATVs over the weekend.
As a result of the investigation, detectives are currently working to identify all operators involved and are pursuing appropriate criminal and traffic-related charges.
Community members expressed their appreciation to officers following the operation, thanking them for addressing ongoing quality-of-life concerns associated with illegal dirt bike and ATV activity in the area.
Investigations into additional illegal operators remain ongoing, and detectives are scheduled to execute a search and seizure warrant as part of a related investigation.
