Eastern District Attempted Murder Arrest
In reference to the shooting that occurred in the Eastern District on October 29, 2024, investigators have arrested 45-year-old Travis Cothran of Baltimore.
Investigators learned that Cothran shot the 35-year-old male victim while in the 1800 block of North Collington Avenue.
On December 5, 2024, at approximately 7 a.m., Cothran was taken into custody at a residence in York, Pennsylvania, and transported to York County Prison.
Cothran is currently awaiting extradition back to Baltimore City, where he will face charges of attempted first-degree murder.

Eastern District Shooting Investigation
On October 29, 2024, at approximately 7:30 p.m., Eastern District officers responded to the 1800 block of North Collington Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located a 35-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the right leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital and listed in stable condition.
