In reference to a homicide in the Eastern District, Baltimore City investigators have arrested 23-year-old Kahree Fowlkes and 22-year-old Kamal Godwin of Baltimore.

 

Fowlkes and Godwin were wanted in connection with the murder of 33-year-old Sir Bryant Alston, who was shot on June 30, 2025, in the 1100 block of East Preston Street. Alston later died from his injuries on July 25, 2025.

 

On July 14, 2026, Northwest District patrol officers arrested Kamal Godwin in the 4700 block of Mount Hope Drive. Kahree Fowlkes was arrested by Warrant Apprehension detectives in the 5100 block of Terrace Drive. Both suspects were taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where they were charged with first-degree murder.

 

 

On June 30, 2025, at approximately 12:55 a.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of East Preston Street in reference to a reported shooting. 

 

Upon their arrival, officers located a 33-year-old male with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
