Northwest District Shooting Investigation 

On December 9, 2025, at approximately 7:42 p.m., Northwest District Officers responded to the 3000 block of Ridgewood Avenue in reference to a reported shooting.

Once at the scene, Officers located a 18-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his hand. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. 

On scene, officers took a person of interest into custody.

Southwest District Shooting Investigation

On December 10, 2025, at approximately 12:58 a.m., officers responded to the 3900 block of Stokes Drive for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 28-year-old male who was suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital where his condition is stable.

Southwest District detectives are investigating this incident and have yet to identify a suspect(s) nor determine a motive.

Southern District Homicide Investigation

On December 10, 2025, at approximately 1:33 a.m., officers were in the area of the 700 block of Washington Boulevard when they heard gunshots. 

Moments later, a shot spotter alert came out for the 800 block of W. Cross Street.

Officers responded and located a 26-year-old male who was suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is in critical condition. Despite media efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased. 

While officers were on the scene, another victim, a 22-year-old male, walked into an area hospital and was suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. That victim’s condition is stable. 

Preliminary investigation revealed the shooting took place in the 1500 block of Russell Street.

Southern District Homicide Investigation 

On December 10, 2025, at approximately 5:15 p.m., Southern District Officers responded to the 1900 block of Harman Avenue in reference to a call of a reported shooting. 

Officers arrived on scene and located an unidentified male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased on scene. 

Homicide Detectives assumed control over the investigation and are asking anyone with information to contact them at 410-396-2100.
