Southern District Shooting Investigation (Homicide)

On February 25, 2026, at approximately 7:13 p.m., Southern District officers responded to the 3500 block of 5th Street for a reported shooting investigation. 

Upon arrival, officers located an unidentified male victim, who was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the body. The victim was transported to an area hospital, listed in critical condition. 

Due to the severity of the victim’s injuries, Homicide Detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Homicide Detectives at 410-396-2100.

This victim later died at an area hospital.

Northwest District Homicide Investigation

On February 25, 2026, at approximately 6:47 p.m., officers responded to the 4900 block of Reisterstown Road to investigate a reported shooting.

Once at the location, officers observed two unidentified male victims suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. Both males were transported to the area hospital listed in critical condition. Despite medical efforts, one of the victims succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
