Central District Shooting Investigation 

On January 30, 2026, at approximately 7:25 p.m., Central District Officers responded to an area hospital in reference to a victim seeking treatment for a gunshot wound. 

Officers arrived and observed at 23-year-old male being treated for a gunshot wound to his body. The victim is in stable condition. 

At this time, the location of the incident is unknown. 

Central District Detectives are investigating this incident and are asking anyone with information to contact them at 410-396-2411.

Northern District Homicide Investigation 

On January 30, 2026, at approximately 9:02 p.m., Northern District officers responded to the 600 block of Woodbourne Avenue in reference to a call of a reported shooting. 

Officer arrived on scene and located a 36-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. 

While canvassing the area, officers also located an unidentified male suffering from a gunshot wound. The unidentified male was pronounced deceased on scene, and the 36-year-old male was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the shooting took place in the 500 block of Sheridan Avenue. 

Homicide detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Homicide Detectives, at 410-396-2100.

Southern District Shooting Investigation 

On January 31, 2026, at approximately 11:04 a.m., Southern District Officers responded to the 3900 block of Fairhaven Avenue in reference to multiple calls for discharging. 

Upon their arrival, Officers entered a residence and located a 41-year-old male and a 15-year-old male, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers provided aid to the victims, using a chest shield and tourniquet until medics arrived. Both victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment. 

A short time later, a 32-year-old male walked into an area hospital seeking treatment for a gunshot wound.

Due to the severity of the injuries of the 15-year-old male, Homicide Detectives responded to the scene.

Southeast District Shooting Investigation 

On January 31, 2026, at approximately 10:27 p.m., Southeast District Officers were on patrol in the 4100 block of Eastern Avenue when they observed multiple people running from inside a store.

Officers entered the store and located a 20-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his hand and a 25-year-old male with gunshot wounds to his arm. The victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment in stable condition. 

Preliminary investigation revealed that there was a physical altercation inside of the store prior to the shooting.
