Northeast District Homicide Investigation

On July 2, 2025, at approximately 11:11 p.m., Northeast District patrol officers responded to the 3000 block of Westfield Avenue for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located an adult male suffering from an apparent life-threatening gunshot wound.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital, where he later died.

Homicide detectives are asking anyone with information to contact them at 410-396-2100 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.

Eastern District Homicide Investigation

On July 2, 2025, at approximately 3:20 p.m., officers responded to a shot-spotter alert at the 3600 block of Ravenwood Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers located a 26-year-old male victim inside a home, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. A second 26-year-old male victim was located in the rear of the location, with an apparent gunshot wound to his leg. He was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
