Southwest District Homicide Investigation 

On July 3, 2025, at approximately 4:34 p.m., Southwest District officers responded to the 2200 block of Ashton Street to investigate a call for service for a blood trail coming from inside a home. 

Upon arrival, officers located an unidentified male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the head. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by medics.

Eastern District Homicide Investigation

On July 3, 2025, at approximately 7:24 a.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to a home in the 2000 block of Boone Street for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers found an unresponsive adult female inside the location suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Medics responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital, where she later died.

Central District Homicide Investigation

On July 3, 2025, at approximately 2:48 a.m., a Central District patrol officer responded to the 1500 block of Thames Street after hearing gunfire.

Once there. officers located a 21-year-old male, unresponsive, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Officers performed CPR on the victim until medics arrived and transported him to an area hospital, where he later died.
