Northeast District Homicide Investigation

On June 8, 2023, at approximately 8:13 p.m., officers responded to a call at the 6200 block of Catalpha Road.

At the location, officers observed a 27-year-old male suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the armpit.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.

Northwest District Shooting Investigation

On June 8, 2023, at approximately 9:36 a.m., Northwest District patrol officers responded to the 3800 block of Copley Road to Investigate a reported shooting.

Once at the location, officers located a 29-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the right leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was walking in the 4100 block of Callaway Avenue when two unidentified males Jumped out of a white Honda Accord and started shooting at the victim.
