Western District Shooting Investigation

On March 19, 2025, at approximately 8:00 p.m., Western District officers responded to the 1700 block of McCulloh Street to investigate a shot-spotter alert.

Once there, officers located a 28-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital listed in stable condition. 

Western District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Western District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2477.

Northwest District Homicide Investigation 

On March 19, 2025, at approximately 5:32 p.m., Northwest District officers were dispatched to the 5400 block of Park Heights Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Upon arrival , officers located a 49-year-old male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body. The victim was pronounced deceased a short time later by hospital staff. 

Simultaneously, officers received a call from an area hospital for a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment for an apparent gunshot wound to the body that was sustained in the 5400 Park Heights Avenue. The 59-year-old victim is listed in stable condition.
