Southwest District Shooting Investigation

On March 29, 2023, at approximately 9:45 p.m., Southwest officers responded to the 2800 block of West Patapsco Avenue to investigate a single-vehicle accident.

Upon arrival, officers were advised by medics on the scene, that a 38-year-old male, who was involved in the single-vehicle accident, was suffering from numerous non-life-threatening gunshot wounds to his body. The victim was transported by medics to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Southwest District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control of the investigation.

Western District Homicide Investigation

On March 29, 2023, at approximately 5:10 p.m., Western District officers responded to the 600 block of North Pulaski Street after receiving a ShotSpotter alert for this location.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 42-year-old male suffering from numerous gunshot wounds to his body. Officers attempted life-saving measures on the victim until medics arrived. The victim was transported by medics to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was pronounced deceased by medical personnel.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.

Southwest District Shooting Investigation 

On March 29, 2023, at approximately 1:07 p.m., Southwest District officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Lyndhurst Street for a report of a shooting.

Upon arriving at the location, officers observed a 74-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds to his leg and hand. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Southwest District shooting detectives were notified and assumed control of the investigation.
