Western District Shooting Investigation

On March 3, 2026, at approximately 2:09 p.m., officers responded to a call for a shooting in the 2100 block of Westwood Avenue.

 Upon arrival, officers located a 17-year-old male who was suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.  The victim was conscious and breathing.

Officers rendered aid until medics arrived on the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital.

This incident is being investigated by Western District shooting detectives.
