Fatal Pedestrian Involved Hit and Run

On March 4, 2025, at approximately 11:20 p.m., patrol officers from the Southwest District responded to a report of a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian in the 100 block of South Hilton Street.

Upon arrival, officers found an unidentified adult female with serious injuries. The vehicle or vehicles involved in the incident did not remain at the scene.

Medics responded and transported the victim to an area hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.

The Accident Investigation Unit (AIU) Detectives are currently investigating this incident.

Southern District Shooting Investigation

On March 4, 2025, at approximately 8:20 p.m., Southern District officers responded to the 41000 block of Audrey Avenue for a call of a reported shooting.

Upon officers arrival, they were informed that the shooting victim was being transported to an area hospital by a vehicle. Once at the hospital, officers observed a 20-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds to his lower extremities.

Central District Homicide Investigation

On March 4, 2025, at approximately 8:19 p.m., Central District Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of McAleer Court in reference to a shooting.

Officers responded inside a residence and observed a 38-year-old male and a 41-year-old female both suffering from a gunshot wound. Both victims were pronounced deceased on scene.

Homicide Detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation.

Eastern District Shooting Investigation

On March 4, 2025, at approximately 4:55 p.m., Eastern District officers responded to the 2200 block of St. Cloud Street to investigate a call for a reported shooting.

Once there, officers located a 69-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
