Central District Shooting Investigation
 
On April 5, 2026, at approximately 5 p.m., patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.
 
Once there, officers located a 28-year-old male suffering from an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
 
The location for this incident has not been determined at this.

Southern District Shooting Investigation
 
On April 5, 2026, at approximately 12 p.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.
 
Once there, officers located a 48-year-old male suffering from an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the hand.
 
The location of the shooting is currently unknown to investigators.

Central District Homicide Investigation
 
On April 5, 2026, at approximately 2:40 a.m., Central District patrol officers responded to the 200 block of Key Highway for a report of a shooting.
 
Once there, officers located an adult male, unresponsive, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
 
Medics responded and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.

Eastern District Shooting Investigation 
 
On April 4, 2026, at approximately 9:14 p.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim. 
 
Once there, officers located a 21-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
 
Preliminary investigation revealed that the shooting occurred in the 1800 block of Saint Paul Street.

Southwest District Shooting Investigation
 
On April 4, 2026, at approximately 2:56 a.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.
 
Once there, officers located a 32-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
 
The victim's injuries are considered to be non-life-threatening.
 
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot while in the 100 block of North Schroder Street.
