Central District Shooting Investigation

On May 25, 2023, at approximately 11: 59 p.m., officers responded to an area hospital to investigate a call for a walk-in shooting victim.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 42-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening. The victim is being treated by medical staff for his injury.

Central District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation.

Northeast District Shooting Investigation

On May 25, 2023, at approximately 10:55 p.m., officers responded to the 3300 block of Ramona Avenue to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed three individuals, a 22-year-old female, a 27-year-old female, and a 27-year-old male suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Officers continued to canvass the area and located a 28-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound in the 3400 block of Shannon Drive. Medics responded to the scene and transported each victim to area hospitals to receive treatment for their injuries.

Northeast District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Central District Shooting Investigation

On May 25, 2023, at approximately 1:44 a.m., Central District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

Once there, officers located a 30-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim’s injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.

At approximately 2:24 a.m., officers were advised of a second walk-in shooting victim at an area hospital.

Upon arrival, officers found a 37-year-old male also suffering from apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Preliminary investigation revealed that at approximately 1:29 a.m., Central District patrol officers were on foot in the 400 block of East Baltimore Street, when they heard gunfire.

Officers responded to the unit block of Holliday Street, where a crime scene was located.
