On April 6, 2026, at approximately 10:10 a.m., officers responded to the 1800 block of Wilhelm Street for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located two male victims, ages 49 and 52, suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Both victims were transported to area hospitals, where they received treatment.

Southwest District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Detectives have determined that the incident occurred inside a vacant dwelling.
