Southeast District Shooting Investigation

On April 16, 2023, at approximately 8:50 p.m., officers responded to the 200 block of Colvin Street for a shot spotter alert.

Upon arrival, officers located an unidentified male inside a vehicle (stolen) suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.  That victim was transported to an area hospital and is in critical condition.

While officers were on the scene, two more shooting victims, ages 15 and 18, walked into an area hospital.

The 15-year-old had been shot in the buttocks.  His wound appears to be non-life-threatening.

The 18-year-old male is suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest and is in serious condition.

Due to the seriousness of the first victim’s injury, homicide detectives are investigating this incident and are asking anyone with information to call 410-396-2100.

Southern District Shooting Investigation

On April 16, 2023, at approximately 1:13 a.m., officers responded to the 1000 block of S. Charles Street for discharging.

Upon arrival, officers canvassed the area and located an 18-year-old male who was suffering from a gunshot wound to his right leg, in the 1100 block of S. Hanover Street.

The victim was transported to an area hospital and was treated for a non-life-threatening injury.

Southern District shooting detectives are investigating this incident.

Northeast District Shooting Upgraded to a Homicide

The shooting victim, a 31-year-old male, from the rear of the 2900 block of Chesley Avenue has been pronounced deceased at Johns Hopkins Hospital at Bayview.

Homicide detectives have now assumed control of the investigation.

Additionally, a 30-year-old woman was shot during this incident.  Her condition is unknown at this time.

Northeast District Shooting Investigation

On April 16, 2023, at approximately 8:38 a.m., officers responded to the Harford Road corridor for discharging.

Upon arrival, officers located an adult male in the rear of the 2900 block of Chesley Avenue who was suffering from gunshot wounds to his leg and arm.

The victim was transported to an area hospital with what appears to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Northeast District shooting detectives are on the scene and investigating this incident.
