On April 30, 2026, at approximately 1:43 p.m., Northwest District patrol officers responded to the 4700 block of Liberty Heights Avenue for a report of a shooting.

 

Once there, officers located a 68-year-old female suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

 

The victim was transported to an area hospital, where she is listed in stable condition.
