Western District Homicide Investigation 

On August 3, 2026, at approximately 4:20 p.m., Western District Officers responded to the 1700 block of McCulloh Street in reference to a ShotSpotter alert and multiple calls of a reported shooting. 

Officers located an unidentified male and an 18-year-old male, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers provided aid to the victims, and they were transported to an area hospital for treatment. Despite life-saving measures, the unidentified male was pronounced deceased a short time later. The 18-year-old male is currently in stable condition. 

Homicide Detectives assumed control over the investigation and are asking anyone with information to contact them at 410-396-2100.

Southwest District Fatal Vehicle Crash
 
On August 3, 2026, at approximately 10:37 p.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to the 100 block of North Hilton Street for a report of a vehicle crash with injury.
 
Once there, officers learned that a 66-year-old driver of a 2002 Ford collided with a 36-year-old motorcyclist. The driver of the Ford fled the scene but was located a short time later. 
 
The 36-year-old male motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital, where he later died.
 
The 66-year-old Ford driver was arrested and charged with DWI.
 
Crash Team detectives are investigating this incident.
