Northwest District Shooting Investigation

On August 30, 2026, at approximately 10:57 p.m., officers responded to the 3100 block of Walbrook Avenue for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 55-year-old male who was suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was treated for an injury and is in good condition.

Northwest District detectives responded and assumed control of the investigation.  Detectives determine that the shooting occurred in the 3100 block of W. North Avenue.

Southern District Shooting Investigation

On August 31, 2026, at approximately 5:13 a.m., officers responded to the rear of the 3700 block of Potee Street for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located an unidentified male who was suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victim was conscious as he was transported to an area hospital for treatment.  His condition is unknown.

Southern District detectives are investigating this incident and are working to identify a suspect and determine a motive.
