Fatal Crash
On December 11, 2025, at approximately 10:52 p.m., Southeast District officers responded to the 5800 block of Erdman Avenue for a reported single-vehicle crash.
Upon arrival, officers located a 1999 Ford van that had crashed and was resting in the eastbound lanes of Erdman Avenue. The driver, a 57-year-old male, was removed from the vehicle and transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.
Members of the Baltimore Police Department’s Crash Team responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Investigators are currently working to notify the deceased’s next of kin.

Southwest District Shooting Investigation
On December 11, 2025, at approximately 1:56 p.m., Southwest District Officers responded to the 300 block of N. Arlington Avenue in reference to a report of a reported shooting and a ShotSpotter Alert.
Once on scene, Officers located a 36-year-old male, suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital in serious condition.
Southwest District Shooting Detectives responded and are investigating this incident. Preliminary investigation revealed that the shooting occurred near the intersection of N. Arlington Avenue and Mulberry Street.
