Southern District Homicide Investigation 

On January 14, 2026, at approximately 9:08 p.m., Southern District Officers responded to the 2500 block of Terra Firma Road in reference to call of a male in the street. 

Officers arrived on scene and located a 30-year-old suffering from gunshot wounds, being treated by medics. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased by medical professionals. 

Homicide Detectives assumed control over the investigation and are asking anyone with information to contact them at 410-396-2100.

Eastern District Homicide Investigation
 
On January 14, 2026, at approximately 1:51 p.m., officers responded to an area hospital in reference to a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment.
 
Once at the hospital, officers observed a 36-year-old male receiving treatment who, despite life-saving efforts, was pronounced deceased by hospital staff.
 
Preliminary information revealed that the victim was shot inside a residence in the 1700 block of East 25th Street before being transported to an area hospital. While canvassing the area, officers took three persons of interest into custody without incident.
 
Homicide Detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Homicide Detectives at 410-396-2100.

Northern District Shooting Investigation

On January 14, 2026, at approximately 10:49 a.m., Northern District enforcement units were on routine patrol in the 2700 block of West Cold Lane when they located a 32-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Moments later, officers located a 27-year-old male in the 4400 block of Reisterstown Road, also suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Both victims were transported by medics to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victims were in the 2700 block of West Cold Lane (rear) when they were shot by unidentified suspect(s).
