On July 14, 2026, at approximately 12:17 a.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to the 200 block of South Monroe for reports of discharging.

 

Once there, officers located a 20-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

 

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.
