Western District Shooting Investigation

On July 16, 2025, at approximately 8:01 p.m., Western District patrol officers responded to the 1000 block of North Carey Street for the discharge of a firearm. 

Upon arrival, officers located a 32-year-old male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. The victim was transported to an area hospital, listed in critical condition. 

Due to the severity of the victim’s injuries, Homicide detectives have assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Homicide detectives at 410-396-2100.
