On March 4, 2026, at approximately 6:31 a.m., officers responded to the 4900 block of Nelson Avenue for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 54-year-old male who was suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound.  

The victim was transported to an area hospital where he is being treated for his injury.

Northwest District shooting detectives are investigating this incident.
