Southeast District Homicide Investigation

On May 14, 2025, at approximately 11:56 p.m., Southeast District patrol officers responded to the 2300 block of Jefferson Street in reference to discharging.

Once there, officers located a 36-year-old male suffering from an apparent life-threatening gunshot wound.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital, where he later died.
