Southeast District Shooting Investigation

On May 15, 2026, at approximately 5:39 p.m., officers responded to the 1200 block of North Potomac Street to investigate a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 15-year-old male and a 17-year-old male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. Both victims were transported to an area hospital, listed in stable condition.

Southeast District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Individuals with information are urged to contact Southeast District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2422.

Northeast District Shooting Investigation

On May 15, 2026, at approximately 4:16 p.m., Northeast District officers responded to the 4300 block of Furley Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 16-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital, listed in stable condition.

Southwest District Homicide Investigation
 
On May 15, 2026, at approximately 12:49 a.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to the 1800 block of West Lexington Street (rear) for a report of a shooting.
 
Once there, officers located a 22-year-old female and a 34-year-old male, both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
 
Medics responded to the location and transported the victims to area hospitals, where they later died.
