Western District Shooting Investigation

On May 19, 2024, at approximately 6:05 p.m., Western District officers responded to the 700 block of North Gilmor Street to investigate shot-spotter alerts.

Upon arrival, officers located a 15-year-old male victim who was suffering from an apparent graze wound to the hip. The victim was transported to an area hospital listed in stable condition.

Western District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Western District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2477.

Eastern District Homicide Investigation

On May 19, 2025, at approximately 5:40 p.m., officers responded to the 2300 block of East Preston Street to investigate several shot-spotter alerts.

Upon arrival at the location, officers located an 18-year-old male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. Medics responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased by hospital staff.

Southeast District Shooting Investigation

On May 19, 2025, at approximately 6:45 a.m., officers responded to the 3600 block Pulaski Highway in reference to a report of a shooting. 

Officers arrived to the location and observed a 43-year-old male with gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment in serious condition. 

A person of interest was taken into custody at the scene. 

Southeast District Detectives assumed control over the investigation and are asking anyone with information to contact them at 410-396-2422.
