Northwest District Shooting Investigation

On May 6, 2025, at approximately 12:44 a.m., Northwest District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

Once there, officers located a 47-year-old male suffering from apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. 

Preliminary investigation revealed the victim was shot while in the 5500 block of Park Heights Avenue.

Southeast District Homicide Investigation

On May 5, 2025, at approximately  11:30 p.m., Southeast District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in stabbing victim.

Once there, officers located a 34-year-old male suffering from apparent life-threatening stab wounds. Despite medical professionals' efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased.

Preliminary investigation revealed the victim was stabbed by an unidentified suspect while in the 1800 block of Portal Street.
