Eastern District Fatal Pedestrian-Involved Crash

On November 29, 2024, at approximately 6:55 p.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to the 1900 block of Belair Road for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.

Once there, officers located a 60-year-old female suffering from various injuries.

Medics responded to the location and transported the victim to an area hospital where she later died.  

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was attempting to cross the street when a vehicle struck her.

The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene.

AIU detectives are investigating.

Northeast District Shooting Investigation 

On November 29, 2024, at approximately 3:21 p.m., Northeast District officers responded to the rear of the 7100 block of McClean Boulevard to investigate a possible shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 32-year-old male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body. The victim was transported to an area hospital, listed in stable condition.

Southwest District Shooting Investigation 

On November 29, 2024, at approximately 1:19 p.m., officers responded to an area Hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment. 

Upon arrival at the hospital, officers located a 30-year-old male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body. The victim is listed in stable condition.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim states that he was driving in the area of North Chapel Gate Lane when he was shot by a suspect driving a Chrysler Van. The victim then drove to the hospital.

Southern District Shooting Investigation 

On November 29, 2024, at approximately 8:36 a.m., Southern District officers responded to the 600 block of Baltic Avenue to investigate a possible shooting.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim’s family member who advised them they found the 23-year-old female victim inside the residence suffering from an apparent laceration wound to the back of the head. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where hospital staff determined the wound to be a gunshot, the victim listed in critical condition.

Eastern District Shooting Investigation

On November 29, 2024, at approximately 12:54 a.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to the 2700 block of East Federal Street, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 57-year-old male suffering from an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
