Western District Shooting Investigation
On September 10, 2025, at approximately 3:09 p.m., officers responded to the 500 block of Islamic Way to investigate a reported shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located a 49-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim was transported to an area hospital, listed in critical condition.
A person of interest was taken into custody at the scene.
Due to the severity of the victim’s injuries, Homicide detectives have assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Homicide detectives at 410-396-2100.

Southeast District Homicide Investigation
On September 10, 2025, at approximately 11:30 a.m., officers responded to the 2300 block of Ashland Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located a 31-year-old male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body. The victim was transported to an area hospital and was pronounced deceased by hospital staff.

Western District Fatal Pedestrian Hit & Run
On September 10, 2025, at approximately 3:30 a.m., Western District patrol officers responded to the 1000 block of North Fremont Avenue for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.
Once there, officers located an unresponsive adult male suffering from life-threatening injuries.
Medics responded to the location and pronounced the victim deceased on the scene.
Crash Team detectives are investigating this incident. Anyone with information is urged to dial 911.
