Northeast District Homicide Investigation

On September 2, 2026, at approximately 2:29 p.m., Northeast District officers responded to the 4900 block of Goodnow Road for a reported shooting investigation. 

Upon arrival, officers located an unidentified male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. The victim was transported to an area hospital; the victim was pronounced deceased by hospital staff.

Homicide Detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Homicide Detectives at 410-396-2100.

Southwest District Shooting Investigation 

On September 2, 2026, at approximately 10:47 a.m., Southwest District Officers responded to the 200 block of N. Hilton Street in reference to a call of a reported shooting. 

Officers arrived on scene and located a 41-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his body. Officers rendered aid and the victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Officers also located a 16-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his arm, in the area. He was also transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Preliminary investigation revealed that a physical altercation occurred between the two individuals inside a business near the intersection of N. Hilton Street and N. Kossuth Street. During the altercation, both individuals were shot. The 16-year-old male left the scene and was quickly located. During an area canvass, officers recovered a weapon.

Southwest District Shooting Detectives are investigating this incident and are asking anyone with additional information to contact them at 410-396-2488.

Northeast District Shooting Investigation

On September 2, 2026, at approximately 12:05 a.m., officers inside the Northeast District in the 1900 block of Argonne Drive heard discharging coming from outside the police station.

Officers responded and found an 18-year-old female suffering from a graze gunshot wound.  The victim was treated on the scene but refused to be transported to a hospital for further treatment.

Officers later learned that the shooting occured in the 2000 block of Argonne Drive. Northeast District detectives are investigating this incident and have learned this shooting stemmed from a verbal dispute that escalated.
