Northern District Homicide Arrest

In regard to the homicide that occurred in the Northern District, detectives have arrested 29-year-old Tyler Liggins of Baltimore.

Liggins was arrested in connection with the killing of 43-year-old Travon Booth, who was found dead in a vehicle on July 19, 2025, on I-83 North, near the Ruxton Road exit. Investigators believe the incident originated in the 1100 block of West Northern Parkway.

On July 23, 2025, Tyrell Liggins was arrested without incident and transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with first and second-degree assault and second-degree murder.

Northern District Homicide Investigation

On July 22, 2025, Baltimore Police Homicide detectives were notified by Maryland State Police of a homicide victim who was located deceased in a vehicle, following a single-vehicle crash on northbound I-83 near the Ruxton Road exit on July 19, 2025.

The victim, identified as Travon Booth (B/M, D.O.B. 02/12/1982), was transported to the medical examiner's office, where the death was ruled a homicide due to multiple blunt force injuries.

Through the course of the investigation, detectives determined that events leading up to the incident originated in the 1100 block of West Northern Parkway.
