Northern District Homicide Investigation

On October 25, 2025, at approximately 5:24 p.m., Northern District officers responded to the 3200 block of Reisterstown Road in reference to a ShotSpotter alert. 

Once at the location, officers observed an unidentified adult male and a 7-year-old boy, suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to area hospitals, where the adult male was pronounced deceased by medical personnel. The child’s injuries are believed to be non-life threatening. 

Homicide detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation.
