Northwest District Attempted Murder Arrest
In reference to the shooting that occurred in the Northwest District on February 20, 2025, investigators have arrested 30-year-old Kileal Kenton of Baltimore.
Investigators learned that Kenton shot the 22-year-old male victim who was located in the 3300 block of Powhatan Avenue.
On March 7, 2025, detectives arrested Kileal Kenton in the 3200 block of Brightwood Avenue, without incident. Kenton was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility where he has been charged with attempted first-degree murder.

Northwest District Shooting Investigation
On February 20, 2025, at approximately 11:28 p.m., Northwest District officers responded to the 3300 block of Powhatan Avenue to investigate a call for a reported shooting.
Once there, officers spoke with a family member of a 22-year-old male victim, who advised the victim arrived at the residence suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim was transported to an area hospital and listed in stable condition.
A crime scene has not been located at this time.
