Southeast District Homicide Investigation  

In reference to the homicide that occurred in the Southeast District, Homicide detectives have arrested 36-year-old Davon Kelly of Rosedale, Maryland.

Kelly was arrested in connection with the homicide of 38-year-old Aaron Hill that occurred on July 4, 2025, in the 3500 block of Esther Place, following a dispute.

On July 7, 2025, investigators arrested Davon Kelly and transported him to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with first and second-degree murder.

Southeast District Homicide Investigation

On July 4, 2025, at approximately 11:51 p.m., Southeast District officers responded to the 3500 block of Esther Place to investigate calls of gunfire.

Upon arrival, officers located an unidentified male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the body. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by medics.
