Southern District Homicide Arrest
In reference to the homicide that occurred in the Southern District on November 13, 2025, detectives have arrested 24-year-old Warren Avery Mackey of Baltimore.
Mackey was arrested in connection with the shooting and killing of 37-year-old Kennard Miller and attempting to kill a 35-year-old male in the 1100 block of Marshall Street.
On January 5, 2026, Warrant Apprehension detectives arrested Warren Avery Mackey without incident in the 6400 block of Baltimore National Pike. Mackey was taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he has been charged with First-Degree Murder.

Southern District Homicide Investigation
On November 13, 2025, at approximately 9:53 p.m., Southern District Officers responded to the 1100 block of Marshall Street in reference to a shooting.
Officers arrived on the scene and located two males, a 37-year-old and a 35-year-old, both suffering from gunshot wounds. The victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment. Despite medical efforts, the 37-year-old male was pronounced deceased by medical professionals.
Homicide Detectives assumed control over the investigation and are asking anyone with information to contact them at 410-396-2100.
