Southwest District Attempted Murder Arrest
In reference to the shooting that occurred in the Southwest District on April 14, 2025, investigators have arrested 40-year-old Kelvin Evans of Baltimore.
Officers on the scene quickly learned that Evans shot his 21-year-old daughter at their home in the 2100 block of West Mulberry Street, following a dispute.
Officers transported Kelvin Evans to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with attempted first-degree murder.

Southwest District Shooting Investigation
On April 14, 2025, at approximately 9:09 p.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to the 2100 block of West Mulberry Street for a report of a shooting.
Once there, officers located a 21-year-old female suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
